Our Story
The story of Aurea Unmanned goes back 15 years, when we started to build our first fixed-wing drone for multispectral mapping of fields in Belgium and the Netherlands. The company used to be called Aurea Imaging and was one of the first companies to offer drone mapping services for agriculture in Europe. Later, production moved to Argentina, where we rebranded the company to FotoAerea and where we managed to become a leading drone manufacturer in South America, not only by building three versions of fixed wing drones, but also by offering image processing, capacity building and managing a network of drone pilots.
